If you’re a seasoned golfer or simply want to learn what really makes Tiger tick, you and three friends can come in to practice or just have fun, and use the golf simulator technology to track a full session of indoor golf - only £49.50 for full access! You can set the simulator up as a driving range, or for chipping and pitching. The screen shows the arc of the ball and calibrates the distance, loft and direction of each shot, so you can see the shape of your shot and measure your consistency with each club. The system also gives you a statistical analysis of your best, worst and average efforts.

You also get to hit as many shots as you like - there is no charge for balls as on a conventional driving range: at Metro Golf, the use of clubs and golf balls is included in the simulator hire.

To get though the winter blues, I arranged for some friends to meet at the Metro Golf. Having booked, the Metro Golf team had set up a Wii console on a big screen for us, which in the “living room” like bar, encouraged everyone to play the Wii and relax. It certainly kept every one entertained and happy for a good few hours and a group also booked an hour or two in the Golf Booths to test out their driving skills.
